It’s been a year since the launch of the Nintendo 3D XL, but we’re still waiting on a Nintendo 3ds release.
There’s been some excitement about the upcoming Nintendo Switch and its successor, the NX, but many are also waiting on Nintendo to finally reveal more about what it’s actually doing with the 3DS hardware.
It’s not that there’s been too much in the way of information about the NX so far, but Nintendo has been pretty coy about some of the specifics surrounding the handheld’s launch.
While the company hasn’t said anything specific about the Nintendo Switch itself, it has been quite clear that the NX will not be a direct successor to the Nintendo DS.
So, for now, Nintendo’s focused on the Switch’s launch lineup, and with that, we’ll be able to learn more about the new console in 2018.
Nintendo will be bringing the Switch out in Japan on March 27, 2019, and there’s a lot more to come from the company.
The Switch will feature the latest hardware from Nintendo, including the Switch dock, Joy-Con controllers, and a new wireless wireless charging pad.
It’ll also have a stylus for gaming, a stylized version of the 3D Touch, and more.
Nintendo Switch will be launching in Japan March 27.
It will also be the first Nintendo Switch console to feature a stylable touchscreen, and it will be the company’s first handheld to support wireless charging.
We know that Nintendo plans to release a 3DS XL version of this device at some point, but the company has yet to confirm if that’s going to come out on March 25, 2019.
We’ll have more details about Nintendo Switch in 2018, so keep checking back for more news and updates about Nintendo’s next-generation handheld.
