Web designers are a growing and vibrant group in Washington, D.C. And they are a small but growing subset of the workforce.
We asked our editors to rank the best and worst web designers in the city, then rank them from least to most influential.
This is what they came up with.1.
Josh Harris, designer and creator of Tinkertoy, a game company: “I feel like I’m on a journey, but it’s not one that’s easy.”
Harris was born in New York City and grew up in a small, upper-middle-class family in Brooklyn.
His first job out of high school was as a waiter at a New York pizza parlor.
“I worked in the food service industry and then moved to a restaurant as a chef,” he says.
“That was kind of my whole career.
I’ve been in a variety of places, from restaurants to coffee shops to bars.”
Harris got his start in design when he got the chance to work at a fashion house, which he describes as a “great opportunity for me because I had an idea.”
“I thought, ‘Wow, what’s the difference between this and the office?’
And that’s what it was: It was the work space.
There were no distractions, no distractions.
I didn’t really get to meet people.
I was just doing my job,” he said.
Harris eventually went on to work for Nike, and he now runs Tinketoys, an online game company.
He says his career is “about building and growing.”
Harris has been making Tinkets for a year, and it’s currently ranked first on the site’s homepage.
He also designed the Tinker Toys video game, which was the most popular video game in the U.S.
A few years ago, Harris said he got tired of designing games in an office.
“It just didn’t feel good,” he told The Huffington Post.
“So I decided to make games, which are a lot easier to make, and I really wanted to do something different.”
Harris said he started designing games as a way to get his creative juices flowing, but he eventually started to think of himself as a designer.
“A lot of people are thinking about what they’re going to do next.
I want to think about what I can do with the next five years,” he added.
“My goal was to design something I can play and enjoy for five years.”2.
Alexey Tkachenko, designer at a Russian startup called Povolu: “It’s a bit of a journey.”
Tkacshenko is an engineer at Poviolu, a Russian tech company.
Tkaca is a veteran designer of web design, having worked for a number of Russian startups and as a freelance designer for the past decade.
He is also an accomplished web developer, having designed the websites of some of Russia’s biggest companies.
TKacshenko started his own web design company in 2015 and has been working with other designers at Poveliu, which has a team of designers working on its first product.
“We have a lot of young designers that we have working on the new product,” he tells us.
Tksan, as he calls himself, started working for Povoliu as an independent contractor.
Tkacshevs work is focused on helping the company build a mobile application.
“When we started, we had this vision that we would develop an app to help people understand what’s happening on the web,” he explained to The Huffington, adding that the app will be “designed from the ground up” to make it easier for people to use.
Tkashevs current goal is to make an app that allows people to upload videos to the web.3.
Peter Giamatti, designer for an art gallery: “Everything is connected.
You’re not separated from each other.”
Giamati is an art historian at the College of William and Mary, where he teaches a course on the history of the art gallery.
He graduated from the College in 2009 and has worked as an associate curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in New Orleans for the last six years.
Giamatti says that it’s “easy to create a cohesive design for an exhibit.
You don’t need to think too much about it.
It’s easy to build a visual system that you know how to use.”
He adds that the experience of working with artists is “one of the most rewarding experiences in any art gallery.”4.
Jonathan Waddell, designer of the iconic T-shirts that are now on sale at Zappos: “When I started, I just wanted to get into it, because it’s something I’d always wanted to try.”
He’s been designing T-shirt designs for Zappocans since 2011.
“People always ask me what my favorite shirt is,” he admits.
“Well, I like everything from my first T-Shirt to
